Music Celebration: World & Jazz


African Dance Celebration



A celebration of the African Diaspora, this popular performance is the culmination of a joint residency project with a guest artist and features dance students from the University of Florida and New World performing with live drummers. Fri.-Sat. 7:30 p.m.; Sun. 2 p.m.

JAZZ AT MOCA


Free outdoor concerts (rain or shine) held the last Friday of every month at 8 pm. MOCA galleries are open by donation from 7-10 pm. Sponsored by Starbucks Coffee Company and the North Miami Community Redevelopment Agency.
HECTOR MARTIGNON

Pianist Hector Martignon has performed, recorded, and produced music in myriad styles and genres for top musicians as well as for his own recordings. He has appeared on Jazz, Latin and Pop albums in addition to his own three solo albums.
